Why Vince McMahon would constantly run god damned house shows up against Raw I'll never understand. Tonight while Raw was broadcasting in Milwaukee, the stars of Smackdown were in LaCrosse, Wisconsin for a house show. Basically the same matches as we've seen all week so let's get to them.
Match 1
Albert vs Rico
Heel vs heel? I don't get why but the manager of Billy and Chuck faces Albert. Albert gets the duke
Winner: Albert
Match 2
Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio Jr
Always great when these two go one on one. Mysterio takes this one.
Winner: Rey Mysterio Jr
Match 3
John Cena vs Chris Benoit
Switching things up with the rookie taking on the rabid wolverine. Benoit wins this one.
Winner: Benoit
Match 4
Kurt Angle vs Rikishi in a Kiss My Ass match
Another gimmick match featuring Rikishi although he doesn't win this one. Angle wins.
Winner: Angle
Match 5
Edge vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship
Now that Lesnar is free from Raw, he can do the Smackdown circuit. Lesnar wins to retain.
Winner: Lesnar (still WWE Champion)
Match 6
Bull Buchanan vs Mark Henry
Hoss fight here as Buchanan takes on Henry. Mark wins it.
Winner: Henry
Match 7
Hardcore Holly and Randy Orton vs Billy and Chuck
Same match from Velocity and the house show circuit with a different result. This time Holly and Orton win.
Winners: Holly and Orton
Match 8
Reverend D'Von vs Deacon Bautista
Same match as all week with the same result, Bautista wins.
Winner: Deacon Bautista
Match 9
Funaki vs Matt Hardy
This would have been fun to see live, for sure. Hardy wins.
Winner: Hardy
Match 10
Tajiri, Jamie Noble and Chavo Guerrero Jr vs The Hurricane, Shannon Moore and Billy Kidman in a Six Man Tag Match
Odd choice to end the night with this match but they've been showing this on the houses all week. Hurricane's team wins.
Winners: Kidman, Hurricane and Moore
Kind of a different feel to this one with Benoit, Angle and Guerrero on early but Lesnar is here for some main event power. Now that Taker and Lesnar are here, the house show matches are going to get very interesting moving forward. Up next on the agenda is tonight's Raw in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I'll see you there.
