The stars of Smackdown were in Billings, Montana for this special Sunday house show. The WWE were doing their boondocks run with Raw in Wyoming and Smackdown in Montana. Smackdown was heading toward Unforgiven with Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit and Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker as the big Smackdown matches. Let's see what else is going on.
Match 1
Tajiri vs Billy Kidman
Cruiserweight match to start the night and Kidman takes it with the 7 Year Itch.

Match 2
Mark Henry, Batista and Shannon Moore vs Bull Buchanan, Reverend D'Von and Albert
Talk about who doesn't belong here. We got four hosses, D'Von and Shannon Moore. Henry wins it with the powerslam.

Match 3
Los Guerreros (Eddie and Chavo Jr) vs Val Venis and John Cena
With Chris Benoit busy with Kurt Angle, WWE FINALLY decided to put Eddie and Chavo together. They were hilarious together in WCW so this should be a good pairing too. Chavo pins Cena with a brainbuster.

Match 4
Edge vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship
With Undertaker doing husband to be duties, Edge gets the title shot here at the house show. Lesnar wins it with the F-5.
Winner: Lesnar by pinfall (still WWE Champion)
Match 5
Matt Hardy vs The Hurricane
A North Carolina indy reunion as Matt takes on Hurricane. Too bad Jeff Hardy isn't here although Shannon Moore is in the back. Helms takes it with Eye of The Hurricane.
Winner: Hurricane by pinfall
Match 6
Rey Mysterio Jr vs Jamie Noble for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship
On TV Rey was battling the Smackdown Six but on the houses he was fodder for Jamie Noble, figure that one out. Noble wins it with a roll up.
Winner: Noble by pinfall (still Crusierweight champion)
Match 7
Hardcore Holly and Randy Orton vs Billy and Chuck
Believe it or not, Holly worked this match with a broken neck. Say what you will about his personality, you could never question his toughness. Palumbo pinned Orton with a roll up.
Winners: Billy and Chuck by pinfall
Match 8
Rikishi vs Kurt Angle in a Kiss My Ass Match
No Chris Benoit this time as Angle holds on to the rope during an inside cradle to get the win.
Winner: Angle by pinfall
No Chris Benoit or Undertaker and it still seemed like a solid show. Hardcore Holly is a tough SOB to fulfill his commitments with a literal broken neck. Still, we got one week to Unforgiven and next Thursday's Smackdown might bring another match to the card. The next show after this is tonight's Sunday Night Heat, I'll see you there.
