WWE at Arco Arena (10/5/02)

Arco Arena
Sacramento, California
October 5, 2002

The stars of Raw went from Boise, Idaho to Sacramento, California for a Saturday house show. Basically the same card from yesterday with a few differences would be held today as well. Let's get to the matches.

Match 1

Raven vs D-Lo Brown

These guys were Sunday Night Heat mainstays at this point with D-Lo leaving the commentating table to get back in the ring. D-Lo gets the win.

Winner: D-Lo Brown

Match 2

Steven Richards and Justin Credible vs Mark Jindrak and Johnny Stamboli

To stretch out the card, they took D-Lo and Raven away from the six man matches to make a standard tag. Looks like D-Lo was the key ingredient because without him, Richards and Credible get the duke.

Winners: Richards and Credible

Match 3

William Regal and Lance Storm vs The Dudley Boys (Bubba Ray and Spike)

Bubba reunites with Spike to take on the remnants of the Unamericans. Bubba and Spike got the win.

Winners: The Dudleys

Match 4

Jeff Hardy vs Chris Jericho

This would have been a hell of a match on television so it must have been great with some more time on a house show. Jericho got the win.

Winner: Jericho

Match 5

Goldust vs The Big Show

Woof, Booker T's lackey against the rising monster. Naturally Big Show wins it.

Winner: Big Show

Match 6

3 Minute Warning (Rosey and Jamal) with Rico vs Kane and The Hurricane for the World Tag Team Championships

Same match from yesterday with the same result. The champs retain.

Winners: Kane and Hurricane (still World Tag Team Champions)

Match 7

Rob Van Dam vs Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship

The Unforgiven rematch will be the house show staple for a week or two. HHH gets the win to retain the title.

Winner: HHH (Still World Heavyweight Champion)

Another standard Raw house show card with a few differences. Not much to say other than Raw was miles behind Smackdown and somehow was about to get worse. Vince McMahon was about to unleash arguably the worst storyline in WWE history, and that's saying something. Its a shame because the way things were going were blah, but its better than embarrassing. Next up is Velocity which was taped on Tuesday. I'll see you there.
